Oleg Taktarov: “I will survive the fight with Tyson!”
A veteran of mixed martial arts, Oleg Taktarov, expressed confidence that he could survive in a boxing match against the legendary Mike Tyson.
“You know, I can stand Tyson, I can stand it, I can stand it!” – said the winner of the sixth UFC championship, answering questions from subscribers on Instagram. “I know that if I stood up to James Toney, then Tyson can stand it one hundred percent. I will stand right in boxing. It is clear that I will have to train hard, for three months for sure. And to prepare hands from uppercuts to place correctly is the only thing that I did not always succeed in. I’m not saying that I can hit him, it is one hundred percent, most likely impossible. Although, why is it impossible? Anything is possible if I am more resilient. But the fact that I will survive the fight with Tyson is for sure “
Recall that on November 28, 54-year-old Mike Tyson will resume his career with an exhibition duel against 51-year-old Roy Jones Jr.
Magomed Magomedov makes his Bellator debut on December 12
Former ACB bantamweight champion Magomed Magomedov will make his Bellator debut on December 12, with Brazilian Matheus Mattos facing off against the Russian.
The organization of the match, which will become part of the Bellator 254 tournament, was reported by numerous sources close to the situation.
Note that both fighters have one defeat in their careers, which fell on fights with the current UFC bantamweight champion, Peter Yan. In April 2017, Yan took the ACB title from Magomedov, defeating his compatriot by unanimous decision, and then successfully defended the championship belt by knocking out Mattos in the third round.
